Martingale: The Real Explanation
See why recovery sizing can create frequent wins and rare, severe losses.
Education is not a profit promise or personal financial advice. Validate on demo, understand the complete risk, and keep control of every bot you start.
How recovery sizing grows
After a loss, a recovery system increases the next stake. If a later trade wins, that payout may recover earlier losses. The same structure concentrates risk into the least comfortable moment: a long losing sequence.
The number that matters
Do not evaluate only the first stake. Add every rounded stake in the full sequence. That total exposure must fit inside the chosen account loss budget before a bot can start.
- Base stake
- Multiplier
- Maximum recovery steps
- Minimum broker stake and rounding
- Actual contract payout
What safer means here
A lower base stake, lower multiplier, fewer steps, and a hard equity stop can reduce exposure. They do not make Martingale safe or profitable. The platform preflight exists to reject configurations whose full sequence exceeds the selected loss limit.
